Abstract: The article describes the existing regulations governing the preparation of consolidated financial statements in the Russian Federation. Also authors considered the application of those regulations depending on the degree of control available to the reporting entity on the enterprises included in the consolidation perimeter. It was concluded that almost the complete regulation of the consolidated financial statements in the Russian Federation is International Financial Reporting Standards.
