Abstract:

This article contains a comparative analysis used in practice computer applications and Microsoft Office Excel MIDAS to build econometric models of economic entities and will be useful to economists , managers in the evaluation and analysis of the company and improve the validity of administrative decisions on development. High dynamics of the market situation requires a more precise tool in building a model of the entity than a tool of the application package (AP) Excel for regression analysis. Program MIDAS, allows you to build the model using principal component analysis and solves this problem with more information accuracy. This article is devoted to a comparison of two approaches to building mathematical models of economic objects on a specific example of the engineering enterprise.
